Abstract
Decision-making in a wide range of e-applications for networked organizations requires using the open information environment. One of the research directions that could significantly facilitate development of such applications is knowledge logistics. This paper describes an agent-based approach to knowledge logistics, the KSNet-approach. It is based on advanced technologies such as, open services, and intelligent agents. Application of the approach is illustrated via a case study based on e-manufacturing utilizing a virtual supply network configuration.
