Abstract :
The problem of blind equalization of space-time block codes is addressed. We consider the time reversal space time block codes for frequency selective fading channels as adopted. By exploiting the algebraic property of the space-time codes and the fact that the transmitted source symbols are of constant modulus, a new blind equalization algorithm with tap constraint is proposed. Global convergence property of the proposed algorithm is ensured by the study of the error performance surface characteristics of the new cost function and supported by simulation results.
