Abstract :
In this paper, an adaptive blind equalization algorithm is proposed to recover the chaos-modulated signal, which is transmitted through an FIR channel instead of the ideal channel assumed by the chaotic synchronization based approach. The short-term predictability of a chaotic signal is exploited to formulate the criterion and derive the proposed algorithm. Compared with the EKF-based approach, the proposed algorithm achieves a great complexity gain and retains the good estimation accuracy. In addition, our algorithm is applicable to ARMA systems.
