Abstract
A high energy physics experiment becomes larger and larger. A data acquisition system for such a large-scale experiment is, therefore, required to have high transfer speed and high reliability. A communication between each node is important in such a large system. Especially, the communication mechanism in one to multi nodes system is important for its performance because the system needs to transmit the same message from one node to multi receiver nodes simultaneously. Therefore, we have focused on the communication mechanism and have developed a reliable multicast communication by adding a resending control mechanism to the multicast communication one for a data acquisition system.
