Abstract :
During the last years, in the framework of nuclear physics, it has been relevant to the development of the multidetectors to reconstruct the multiparticle event in the nuclear reactions. These multidetectors, at high granularity, need complex control systems. In this paper, we present a high-frequency modular multiplexer, proposed for the 4π CHIMERA detector, named CHIMUX (CHImera MUltipleXer) system. The principal system feature, other than very low signal degradation, is to route calibration pulses on the multidetectors, without requiring cooling system for the router cards placed under vacuum.
