Abstract
Pulse transformers used in switching power supplies are desired for miniaturization and higher output power. The authors have been investigating the hybrid pulse transformer (HPT) with permanent magnet to increase output power by expanding operating range of magnetomotive force. This paper describes the output characteristics of an HPT and a conventional pulse transformer (PT).
