Abstract :
Powder-type magnetic wood achieves both woody and magnetic characteristics by combining scrap wood powder with magnetic waste materials. In addition to showing magnetic characteristics, this powder-type magnetic wood also offers a wood texture, moisture-absorption characteristics, adiathermancy, and is very easy to process. It is worth noting that boards using powder-type magnetic wood can be used as indoor electromagnetic wave absorbers made from waste materials. The experimental results of this study show that the electromagnetic wave absorption characteristics can be controlled by changing the mixing ratio and thickness of Mn-Zn ferrite powder and Ni-Zn ferrite powder that is set as volume content 50 vol%.
