Abstract :
The temperature dependence of the hysteretic and relaxational behaviours of a high coercivity La manganite was measured. The results were discussed in terms of their magnetic structure and they indicated that the vacancy-induced ferromagnetic Mn4+-Mn3+ clusters are coupled to the antiferromagnetic matrix in a way that involves decompensation of the antiferromagnetic lattice. It therefore resulted on the formation of net moments at the interfaces.
