Abstract :
In connection with the disadvantages of traditional fault current identification method, a fault section diagnosis program of distribution network based on improved genetic algorithm is presented. The algorithm can identify the network´s topology automatically and research some improved mechanisms such as fitness function, GA operators and parameters and so on. The algorithm has high efficiency and fault-tolerance and it is proved in three groups simulation tests.
