Abstract :
We analyze a class of dynamical systems in the presence of distributed propagation delays under an optimization framework for rate allocation problems in communication networks. We develop a model of the rate control system with distributed communication delays, and derive a sufficient condition for global stability under a set of reasonable assumptions.
