Building blocks for low-power stochastic pulse coded systems

This paper presents low-power building blocks for arithmetic operations on stochastic pulse coded signals. By using dynamic error-correction techniques, operations like division and square-root extraction can be performed with good accuracy. The proposed circuits are presented along with simulation results, showing the feasibility of the methods.
