Abstract :
A 900MHz double balanced mixer for GSM applications has been designed in a 0.25µm CMOS technology. Similar to the MICROMIXER [1], this mixer has a single-ended, 50Ω matched input, while thanks to its class-AB design it has excellent large signal linearity. The 6dB NF disadvantage of the Micromixer is avoided by the modified structure of this paper. A conversion gmof 8.3mS and an input IP3 of 7.5dBm were obtained at a current consumption of only 4mA.
