Abstract :
The need to issue remote sensing (RS) image metadata and its significance are studied and analyzed in this paper, And metadata management, metadata tool, metadata standard and related issues are also discussed. Considering various applications, models of distributed management and integrated management of image information metadata are studied. For ease of presentation and logic clarity, a method of integration management of blocked remote sensing image, sample, metadata and other related data are proposed and designed. RS data is not divided into binary large objects to be stored at current relational database system, so it is easy to reconstruct through the solid index mechanism with metadata by Oracle9i. XML is discussed and studied to solve data exchanging and sharing with other image data metadata based on various standards. Finally, The system of remote sensing image metadata issue system (RSIMIS) are designed and implemented based on B/S (browser/server) mode.
