  • Abstract
Shenfu Dongsheng Coal Co. Ltd (abbreviation for Shendong Company) is a large state-owned enterprise mainly engaging in coal production. After 20 years of hard work, the company had experienced soaring development and has earned itself eight world records in the mining industry. In this process of development and achievement, automatic controlling and mechanization had played very important roles. Combined with a refined management mechanism, the automatic equipment and other technologies have created remarkable productivity. Focusing upon the Daliuta Drift Mine, a typical modernized mine, as a case study, this paper introduces the systems of automatic control instigated by Shendong Company. In turn, these are reviewed as to their use and effectiveness. This is very typical case study of informational and cybernetic application in practice.
