Abstract :
Despite the fact that the LCD computer monitors have undergone a tremendous technology improvement in recent years, their color performance may still be enhanced through image processing. This paper presents few correction algorithms for improving color performance of the LCD computer monitors in the area of gray tracking, viewing angle performance and response time. The implementation of each algorithm does not require special hardware additions or alterations or architecture changes, but it uses the existent resources of a modern computer system.
