Abstract
The paper suggests the use of code orthogonality information in an iterative, zero forcing interference suppression scheme. This simple scheme is applicable in UTRA downlink conditions. It is shown that when multiple receive antennas are present, selection diversity with regard to code orthogonality information improves the system performance at a very low complexity overhead.
