Rinaldo Castello and Some of His Circuits

I have lost track on how many years I have known Rinaldo. Clearly this is what I should remember about a well-known man as Rinaldo, but I just cannot. He seems to have been there almost as long as I remember. My earliest souvenirs go back to early versions of our conferences such as ISSCC and ESSCIRC. These conferences are the bread and butter of all chip designers. It really has become a necessary and sufficient condition to attend those, to stay abreast of the competition. Rinaldo has been there all along indeed. His first ESSCIRC was in 1977 and his first ISSCC in 1984. He was program chair of ESSCIRC in 1991 in Milano. His last contributions to these conferences were just a few months ago. It is amazing to find people who have attended so many ESSCIRCs and ISSCCs. Actually I have tried that as well and this is how we became acquainted.
