Abstract :
In this paper, we present theoretical bounds of time-hopping (TH) sequences for time-hopping spread spectrum ultra wideband (THSS-UWB), namely the relations between four parameters of sequences period, the number of time slots, TH sequences family size and maximal TH correlation function values. By studying averages of TH correlation function values, the relations between averages and the above parameters are formulated, and low bounds of maximal TH correlation function values are obtained.
