Abstract
With regard to the requirements of high capacity and high quality transmission of future wireless communication systems, novel system architecture and advanced techniques should be studied. The proposed group cell structure based on multi-antenna is a novel cellular construction method, which is fit for new advanced physical techniques such as JT, STC, MIMO, OFDMA, distributed antenna. In this paper, a detailed analytical model is presented and interference distribution expression is derived. Our investigation shows that on the uplink, with macro-diversity the interference can be suppressed greatly, which leads to a significant increase of capacity.
