Abstract :
The next generation mobile communication 4G will support high data transmission rate and high frequency efficiency. In order to satisfy the future requirements of fixed broadband wireless access systems, technical renovation on the physical layer and control layer is demanded and UWB is one of the most competitive technologies in future wireless communication systems. The paper discusses UWB frequency spectrum, modulation and MA technologies of UWB, and then emphatically analyzes multipath channel model of UWB proposed by IEEE 802.15. SG3a. Based on the research of UWB frequency spectrum and key technology, the results suggest that the new multipath channel model needs to be further modified.
