Abstract
We report the generation of tunable continuous-wave (cw) radiation in the blue by intracavity frequency-doubling of an all-solid-state Ti:sapphire laser in the crystal of BiB3O6. Wavelength tuning over the range of 373-435 nm is demonstrated and cw blue powers of 350 mW have been obtained without optimisation.
