Abstract :
We develop an isotropy-improved nonstandard finite difference (NSFD) (2,2) scheme by introducing extra degrees-of-freedom into the original NSFD by modifying the correction terms. The notation (2,2) indicates that the scheme is still based on a (2,2) stencil.
