Abstract :
In this paper we investigate and compare the performance of two types of AMC structures. In particular we consider the effectiveness of each AMC at suppressing TM and TE surfaces at L-band. Design guidelines and trade-offs associated with each structure are given. We also provide experimental results to confirm the effectiveness of each AMC structures and our theoretical evaluations
