Abstract :
A cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna made from ceramic dielectric material is reported. A ceramic dielectric resonator with coaxial feed is used for excitation of HEM11δ mode. The reflection characteristics are studied for suitable probe length. Resonant frequency, bandwidth and radiation pattern are measured for the DR at optimum feed position.
