Abstract :
The paper describes the calculated results of a novel flat plate asymmetrical trapezoid dipole antenna with an ultra wide bandwidth characteristic. The frequency range for VSWR less than 2 is realized at 2.83-11.3 GHz. The radiation pattern does not change within this frequency band. It was confirmed that the proposed antenna is useful for ultra high-speed wireless communications.
