Abstract
The paper presents an efficient method to calculate the closed-form spatial Green´s functions for a microstrip structure when the source and the field points are located at an arbitrary height above the substrate. By using contour deformation and changing the integration variable, the Sommerfeld integrals are successfully evaluated for height changes of the source and the observation points.
