Abstract :
Fractal antennas are receiving more attention due to their compact size. The predominant three eigencurrents and associated eigenpatterns of a square fractal loop antenna with a finite ground plane are given. The method of characteristic mode gains more insight into the natural resonance of the planar fractal antenna.
