Abstract
In recent years microwave imaging has been applied to the detection of tumors in biological structures. In breast cancer detection, we model a breast the same way as in Fear et al. (2000). Then we illuminate it using two spheres at a distance that is neither too far nor too close to it. We analyze the frequency response of the scattered waves when tumor is present and when we have a normal breast without tumor. Though the work we report here is for breast cancer, our method works for other biological anomalies including cancer.
