Abstract
In this paper, a low power implementation of the Karsilayan &Schaumann gyrator is proposed. Practically, the circuit topology only includes NMOS transistors in signal paths. This topology, which simulated an active controlled inductance, allows a simple realization of bandpass and lowpass filters. Simulation results from the AIMS-CMOS 0.35μm had well confirmed our theoretical approach and the circuit properties. As an example, for a cut-off frequency of about 140MHz, the total power consumption is lower than 544μW.
