Abstract
We study the performance of estimation algorithms for time-offset between master-slave nodes via asynchronous transfer of timing-cells when GPS is not used. We implement and analyze a time-out control mechanism using exponentially symmetric CDV model. Comparing five estimation algorithms shows that the minimum link-delay (MnLD) algorithm achieves the best accuracy and speed without time-out control constraints
