Abstract :
In this paper, the design of a signaling unit (controller and signaling modules) for simple IP phone is presented. The unit was implemented using FPGA technology and the design was downloaded and tested on a Spartan II 200 FPGA. Satisfactory results were obtained with frequencies up to 25 MHz
