Abstract :
This report presents the results of a comparative analysis of experimental and theoretical data on the current density distribution in the cross-section of axially symmetric electron bunches used in mm-wave TWTs. It is shown that the developed algorithm of numerical trajectory analysis allows for a sufficiently accurate estimation of optimal operating modes of the three-electrode gun under discussion.
