Abstract :
Presented in this paper are the results of study of long-focus and short-focus open resonators (OR) of diffraction radiation oscillator (DRO) by means of automated measuring system (AMS) in the 4-mm wave band. AMS implements frequency tuning of signal oscillator within 53.57-63.37 GHz via 10 MHz step complemented by the ability of a minimal step 160 kHz within 600 MHz bandwidth. Microwave field amplitude was measured at every point of frequency range. This system allows to study resonance systems with Q up to 5÷7×104.
