Abstract
Grey relational analysis is a kind of effective tool to make system analysis. Grey superiority analysis is a very important step to make relational analysis. Up to now the research about superiority analysis is relatively weak. First the existing basic theory and methods of grey relational analysis and grey superiority analysis are briefly introduced, and their defects are pointed out. Then a new algorithm, that is, the method of ordering with ideal point, to determine the grey relational ordering is presented. Moreover combined with clustering technique, a new concept of grey relational clustered ordering is put forward, and its algorithm is given. It is revealed that grey relational clustered ordering may reflect the difference and similarity of the influences of factors or characteristics, and use limited data information more effectively. The validity of the new methods is verified via an example in practice.
