Abstract :
This paper describes a robust and structured tuning method for PID-like fuzzy logic controllers considering the frequency domain first-harmonic approximation. Equivalent second-order low-pass electromechanical systems could be controlled and tuned using this controller. Different frequency domain properties are combined through desirability functions. Experimental designs give the first settings, which are improved by a geometrical optimization algorithm.
