Holographic fabrication of woodpile-type photonic crystals with phase mask techniques

Abstract :
Photonic crystals with tetragonal or cubic symmetry are fabricable by exposing photoresist SU-8 to interference patterns generated by phase masks. These crystals could have bandgaps up-to 27% of gap-center-frequency if made from silicon.
