Abstract :
A solar-powered aircraft designed to make the first flight around the world with no fuel has been unveiled in Switzerland. Like Solar Impulse 1, which famously crossed the USA in two months fully powered by the Sun, Solar Impulse 2 is the brainchild of Swiss psychiatrist and explorer Bertrand Piccard and engineer and entrepreneur Andre Borschberg.
