Abstract :
The paper is a powerpoint presentation on data exchange in the facilitation of industrial communications, particularly on the use of simple object access protocol or SOAP. Different protocols and markup languages used in the World Wide Web are discussed. The use of SOAP is demonstrated in FactoryCast modules.
