Abstract :
The paper considers the relations between variable speed characteristics and three PMSM parameters on speed control aspect: permanent-magnet flux-linkage, d-axis-reactance, q-axis-reactance. Finally, a newly graphical method is acquired to ascertain these three parameters quickly and directly. This method provides a powerful aid for the PMSM preliminary design, and the design period can be reduced greatly. The graphical method poses several merits. Such as simple, visual and high precision. The simulation and experiment confirm the reliability of the newly method.
