Abstract :
The component parts of the switched reluctance motor drive were described with the three-phase 12/8 structure motor, the four-phase 8/6 structure motor, three-phase and four-phase asymmetric bridge power converter main circuit. The analysis of current based on the nonlinear mathematical models was presented. The Fourier analysis equation of the phase current and the DC supplied current was given. The tested frequency spectrum distribution of the DC supplied current in the power converter of the three-phase 12/8 structure prototype and the four-phase 8/6 structure prototype was also presented.
