Abstract
This paper analyzes the basic theory of propeller simulation system, which plays a more and more important role in the electric propulsion systems development. Four different modes, including dual connection of two thyristor H-bridge and DC/DC with PWM rectifier DC motor modes, field oriented control and direct torque control AC motor modes are discussed. Each mode´s topology and its own advantages and disadvantages are also described. The simulation and experimental results are given in the end, which are used to examine some modes working characteristics
