Abstract
This paper reviews the state of the art in signal processing techniques that can be used to increase the spurious free dynamic range of DSP enabled radios. It shows that 10 dB increases is typically a limit of code-mapping but that the use of dynamic correction techniques can provide an increase of up to 20 dB. The possibility of combining known techniques to provide further increase is discussed.
