A proposal for a distributed archiving architecture using intelligent automated tools

Starting from three user scenarios we propose a distributed architecture for cultural heritage institutions or digital archives and professional end users. The interfaces take advantage of intelligent search engines and personalization features. The annotation coherence is automatically guaranteed and propagated to large sets of contents without repetition of the cataloguing that at this time the operator executes by hand.
