Abstract :
We numerically study and isolate the impact of nonlinear phase noise and intrachannel nonlinearities in 42.7-Gbit RZ-DPSK transmission over 32×100-km non-zero dispersion-shifted fiber (NZDSF) for different scenarios of optical noise loading.
