  • Abstract
    We have experimentally evaluated a 10 Gbit/s E-PON system using XENPAK-based burst-mode transceivers for the first time, and have confirmed that around 4 Gbps upstream throughput can be expected with two ONUs, even using XENPAK-based transceivers.
