Abstract
We compared experimentally the maximum fibre input power of SMF, TeraLight and TrueWave fibres (single span) on 43 Gb/s ASK/DPSK formats, covering NRZ and RZ formats. At DPSK SMF yields highest fibre input power and highest pre-dispersion tolerance.
