Abstract :
Absorption layers of EML have been optimised by using shallow quantum well for high-power and ultralow-chirp operation under semi-cooled conditions. Successful 10.7 Gbps-1600ps/nm transmission has been attained at the +3.0dBm average fiber launched power and 45°C.
