Abstract :
We demonstrate 10.7 Gbit/s transmission over 75 km SSMF using 1.3 mum directly modulated InGaAsP uncooled transmitter at 85degC with > 5 dB margin with RS (255.239) FEC. For a transmission distance of 60 km, the margin will be ~ 11 dB
