Abstract
10Gb/s/ch CWDM transmission over water-peak-suppressed NZ-DSF using uncooled directly modulated DFB laser has been demonstrated for the first time. 160Gb/s transmission over 12km has been assured to be realistic for metro-access CWDM networks.
