  • Abstract
    Optical demultiplexing at a data rate corresponding to 320 Gbit/s has been achieved by using an ultrafast monolithic optical gate integrating a photodiode and an electroabsorption modulator. The on/off ratio is 11 dB or better for adjacent channels and is larger than 16 dB for the others.
